The Killer 2023 Film - Review

The Killer is a movie directed by David Fincher. It is based on a comic by Alexis Nolent. The movie is about revenge, but it also looks at how people think and feel. Fincher gives the movie a more artistic style to make it different from other revenge stories.

The spotlight is not on a regular person, it's on a hitman who doesn't have a known name (Michael Fassbender). The murderer was highly skilled at what he did. He knows exactly how to do the task, and the audience can learn from listening to the voice over that lasts for almost the whole time. Every detail is considered, even the heart rate should stay under 60 beats per minute to make sure the shot is accurate.

He was very good at his job and now it seemed easy and unexciting. Yet, The Killer, with its slow pace, is not at all dull. The first part of the show takes place in Paris. It is a dramatic presentation that makes the audience feel the characters' loneliness and fear. As the show goes on, we start to feel tense without even realizing it, and our heart beats faster, The bullet didn't hit the target.

The killer decides to get revenge when he finds his girlfriend, Magdala, being attacked by two other killers during their escape. It may seem easy, but as time goes on, Andrew Kevin Walker's script starts to suggest other things. Does the main character want to get revenge by killing the people who hurt his lover.

He was very bored, so he started talking about everything to keep himself entertained. He said "Stick to your plan" while he was listening to The Smiths' songs. Expect instead of making it up as you go. Do not trust anyone. Never give up an advantage. Only fight the battle you're paid for. "He lives by his own set of rules, and it makes his life boring and predictable. "

After the mission in Paris failed, he kept saying those words but often did the opposite. The murderer starts to forget things, sometimes does things without planning, trusts other people, and gets into fights without getting paid. Is that a kind of not being careful. Meeting a character named The Expert (Tilda Swinton) makes us question that idea.
