Sijjin is a scary movie from Turkey. I haven't seen the original version, so I'm curious about what will make this Turkish horror film different from other local horror films. But actually, the story and scary parts of Sijjin are similar to many other Turkish horror movies.

Sijjin 2023 Film - Review

Sijjin is a new version of a Turkish movie called Siccîn. It is about a person who is going to die because of black magic, and the story covers five days leading up to the death. I had five boring days because nothing exciting or mysterious happened.

Nisa (Niken Anjani) is the person who has been harmed by black magic. We don't know a lot about her, but we do know she is Galang's wife and Sofia's mother. Sofia is blind. Before Nisa was taken over, she was often seen serving drinks. Why should we worry about him.

Irma, who does black magic, wants to take over Galang even though he is her own cousin. She gets more attention in the story. Did Lele Laila's script initially want to understand Irma's character. No, not really. Irma really highlights the typical way this movie is described. She wore a lot of make-up and sexy clothes, while Nisa looked more natural as the victim.

Lele Laila's latest movie, which lasts 100 minutes, goes back to basic and doesn't have a good story. It has some scary scenes but they are not special. The main idea has potential, but the script doesn't want to explore it. For instance, the suggestion to wear a headscarf in two different situations is not looked into more to understand religious belief.

This movie has the potential for mystery when strange things start happening to Irma. But again, the program doesn't work with this part correctly. The characters don't try to find answers, so curiosity isn't sparked. What about the strange sickness that Galang's mother (Elly D. ) hadSure, I can definitely help with that. The word "Luthan" looks like it might be a name or a specific term that I'm not familiar with. Can you provide some more context or explanation so that I can understand what you're asking for. It would be helpful to have a bit more information in order to simplify the text for you.

Anggika Bolsterli did a good job in the role of Sijjin. Together with T's clean and beautiful artwork design. Rewrite: Moty D. Setyanto effectively uses realistic animal innards to make people feel disgusted. Anggika's acting is what keeps this film from being bad. Anggika had a big impact and when she was away for a while, Sijjin died right away.

In his sixth horror film, Hadrah Daeng Ratu still needs to work on making his movies more intense. The most exciting and intense part of the story, where two scary things happen at the same time, is not as scary or intense as it should be. The timing, how the camera moves, and the way shots are chosen are not very good.

Sijjin ends with a summary of what happens to the characters after the movie's story is finished. It's like a short movie about their lives after the main story. People say the movie is based on a true story, but Sijjin doesn't really talk about that. So, the ending just seems random, like the rest of the movie.
